We are a faith-based, female owned company that specializes in unique one-of-a-kind designed products.  We pride ourselves in providing personalized one-on-one service as well as a high level of professionalism.

The owner began to see a need for more personalized services in the area of publications.  The focus is to provide a product that is memorable and special to each client. Products such as bookmarks, family books, photo cards, calendars, family history books, business cards, newsletters, and memorial programs that can last with the test of time and be a conversation piece at any dinner table.

Additionally, the owner is a consultant who can provide administrative services. She has the ability to set up business offices that include, but are not limited to developing policy and procedures, writing procedures manuals, and designing company specific business forms.  She can also provide basic accounting/billing services.

The staff at Custom Made Publications specializes in the design of  family history books, party favors, flyers, save-the-date announcements, invitations, business cards, brochures, church programs, obituaries, newsletters and PowerPoint presentations.

Joyce Summerville-McDaniel, a seasoned professional, has over 40 years experience in customer service, administration, accounting, human resources, and entrepreneurship.  Born in San Francisco, CA and raised in the East Bay, she has been in the greater Sacramento area for over 30 years. 

Ms. Summerville-McDaniel worked in corporate America for over 40 years and  decided to work her business full time.  She earned her Associates of Arts degree in general education from Cosumnes River College in 1990, her B.S. degree in Business Management from Golden Gate University in 1995, as well as a Executive Masters degree in Public Administration also from Golden Gate University in 1999.  Additionally, she earned a Payroll Administration Certificate from California State University, Sacramento, CA in 2002.

The parent company, J. O. Billing Services, was established in July 2000, which provides bookkeeping and administrative services for small businesses.  In January 2008, Custom Made Publications began as a subsidiary of J. O. Billing Services.

Ms. Summerville-McDaniel puts God first and family right after God in her life.  She is also known for her attention to detail, being meticulous about her work, and always focusing on the customer.

In addition to working full time in her business, Ms. Summerville-McDaniel is an author and self-published a booklet entitled 'Words from a Babe: Priceless Conversations Between A Nana and Her Granddaughter. She is also the family's historian and has written a book to this degree.
